Accessibility Resource Center

The University of Tennessee provides reasonable accommodations (academic adjustments and auxiliary aids) to ensure equal access to educational content and university programs for students with disabilities. Students who are approved for accommodations are responsible for requesting accommodation letters be sent to faculty each semester. Our Mission and Goals

The mission of the Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) is to create an accessible, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that allows for all students to have equal access to a higher education. Through a collaborative effort with faculty, staff, and students, the ARC facilitates academic accommodations, disability advocacy, and serves as an educational resource for the campus community.

The ARC team is committed to serving the UTM community through ensuring equal access, removing disability-related obstacles, supporting civil rights, and increasing education and awareness on behalf of students with disabilities.

Goals
